This unique program for African American women presents practical information about changing nutritional habits and lifestyle behaviors to reduce the risk of diet-related illnesses such as obesity, heart disease, diabetes, cancer and hypertension. The seminar also offers healthy ways to cook Southern and traditional African-Americans foods, and discusses issues concerning stress management, diet, becoming financially fit, and the effects of depression to name a few. Our keynote speaker this year will be Inspirational speaker , Dr. Gwendolyn Goldsby-Grant.
